From June 2017 to October 2017, I was commissioned by the City of Tacoma to come up with a concept and execute a 200' long mural on a Jersey barrier located on the newly built Water Flume Line Trail on South Tacoma Way in Tacoma, WA. I was inspired by the trees surrounding the trail, as well as local birds that can be found in Tacoma.
From July to October 2016, I was commissioned by the Tacoma Arts Commission to assist on a mural that consisted of 4 retaining wall across the intersection of 84th and Bell streets in Tacoma, WA.
In 2017, I was commissioned to create 13 illustrations for a book of short stories about hunting. All of the illustrations were based on descriptions given to me by the author, Karl McMichael.
This is the second book I was commissioned to illustrate for author, Karl McMichael. I created four drawings to go along with the stories in this installment.

In May of 2015, I was invited to paint at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Quincy, WA as part of the visual element that went along the the live music.
Again in 2016, I was invited to be a part of the visual arts team at the Sasquatch! Music Festival. I painted live at the event for 3 days and created a new series of work that featured different birds and objects.
I was invited to do a live painting mural demo while bands played into the evening. I always enjoy painting in a "live" setting where people can watch the process and see it all come together.
I was so excited to be invited back by COCA (Center On Contemporary Art) for a 6th year to paint live for 24 hours straight! After the live painting segment was finished, all the art was auctioned off and the proceeds went to help fund more art programs and events for COCA.
In 2016, I was commissioned to create a series of designs for Tacoma band The Bomb Shelter. I sat down with the guys at a local bar and started sketching out a few ideas based on loose concepts and ideas they had surrounding their music. Next, at home I listened to The Bomb Shelter while drawing. I picked out the strongest idea and started to solidify my sketch. After the sketch was approved by the band, I inked the drawing and then scanned it to create a vector graphic. That vector graphic, along with a mock up gets sent to a screen printer to get printed!
"In Habitat" is a series of work that I created for my solo show at Chroma Clouds gallery in Seattle in November 2015. It was on display for the entire month of November.
I created this design for the band From The Future. The thought provoking lyrics and imagery of their music as well as input from band members helped to inspire this design. The font as well as the graphic is hand drawn, then assembled in Adobe Illustrator.
